Jordan--Owner, Trainer, Walker, and Playgroup Supervisor.  Mom to Griffin and Digby.

I came to dog walking and pet care with a life-long love of animals and a belief that I couldn’t settle for anything less than work that I loved.  As a kid I’d always wanted to work with animals when I grew up but was never really sure how to make that dream happen.  I’d also had a long standing desire to own a business.  After a great year of working for another local dog recreation service, I knew that it was time to pursue both a career in working with dogs and small business ownership.  I'm a dog trainer in addition to my daily outings with Neighborhood Paws, and am passionate about positive reinforcement, work with reactive dogs, and using a patient, understanding approach to working with each dog I meet.  I'm also an aspiring herbalist, and enjoy mixing up herbal pet products and treats for my Big Fluffy Dog Rescue boys, Griffin and Digby.  I love sharing my knowledge about training and herbalism, so feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!

As a child, I was always naturally drawn to all sorts of beasts and critters in the animal kingdom. Growing up, my large family had a love for their canine companions that made it feel natural to accept our four legged friends as kin. My deep curiosity for the relationship between animals, humans and nature led to a journey of studying Biology and Environmental Science at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.   Working with Neighborhood Paws has fulfilled not only a yearning to wake up every morning loving what you do, but also a desire to better understand animal behavior and communication. Every day that I see the joy in our dogs' furry faces, whether it be from positive reinforcement training techniques or one of our off-leash adventures, it's truly a learning experience. Currently, I am mom to a wild, fur baby named, Sukie. We live in Medford and are aspiring wilderness conquerors.

I have loved dogs and animals of all kinds my whole life, but it wasn’t until going to college and missing my own pup dearly that I realized how important dogs are to our lives. I’d done some dog-walking and sitting before so after graduating from Brandeis University in 2014 with a BS in Public Health I decided to pursue dog walking and ended up working with Neighborhood Paws! When I’m not walking dogs I’m applying for my masters in Global Medicine!
